Translations
Blast follows the language your visitors pick in Paymenter's language switcher. Two separate things are translated:
- Interface text — buttons, labels, empty states and messages that Blast ships with. These are translated out of the box for every language Paymenter offers.
- Your own text — headings, descriptions, button labels, pages, product details and anything else you typed in Blast Studio. You add these translations yourself, per language.
Text you have not translated falls back to your store's default language, so a half-translated store never shows empty spaces.
Translating your text in Studio
- Pick a language in the language menu in the Studio toolbar, next to the dark/light switch. An amber bar confirms Translating to …
- The panel now shows only the fields that hold text. Each field shows your default-language text as a grey placeholder — type the translation over it. Translated fields get a green Translated tag.
- The preview shows your store in that language, exactly as a visitor sees it.
- Publish as usual. Click Done, or pick your default language, to go back to editing the default text.
Settings that are the same in every language — colours, layouts, links, images, switches — are hidden while you translate.
What can be translated
- Every text setting in every panel: homepage sections, header, footer, store, client area, sign-in pages, e-mails and modules.
- Menus and row lists — the menu builder, trust rows, stats, FAQ lists and so on. In translation mode these start as a copy of your default text; change only the words. A translated list is a complete copy, so if you later add an item to the default list, add it to the translation too, or clear the translation to start again from the default.
- Custom pages — title, menu label, SEO title and meta description, plus the text of every section on the page. Open the page in the Page builder while translating.
- Product details — tagline, badge text, specs and FAQ, under Store & checkout → Product builder.
To remove a translation, clear the field or use its reset icon; the default text is used again.
Which languages appear
The Studio language menu lists the languages enabled in Paymenter, under Admin → Settings → General → Allowed Languages. Your default language is Paymenter's Default Language on the same page — that is the language you write in when no translation is selected.
Shipped interface translations
Blast's own interface text and its default copy ship as one file per language. These are included:
Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Serbian (Latin), Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian — 23 languages besides English.
Arabic and Hebrew pages are laid out right to left. Plural rules and localized price periods such as /Monat, /mois and /月 are handled.
Paymenter's own texts — cart, invoices, account pages — come from Paymenter's translations.
Tips
- Translate the hero, the main buttons and your product taglines first — they are what visitors read before deciding to buy.
- Keep translated button labels short; they share space with icons.
- Use the device switcher while translating. Some languages need noticeably more room.
