Compatibility

What Blast needs, what it bundles, and what it does not depend on.

Supported versions

ComponentRequirementNotes
Paymenter1.5.8 or newerTested on 1.5.8 and 1.5.9
PHP8.3 or 8.4Matches Paymenter's own requirement; tested on 8.3

Filament5.x, shipped by PaymenterOnly for the extension's admin pages

Blast does not modify Paymenter core files, so it follows Paymenter's own update cycle safely.

PHP extensions

Blast needs everything Paymenter already requires, plus nothing extra. In practice that is the standard Paymenter set, all present in the official Paymenter Docker image.

ExtensionUsed for
intlPaymenter core
jsonPaymenter core
mbstringStrings, slugs, transliteration
opensslEncryption, HTTPS
pdo plus a driver (pdo_mysql, pdo_pgsql or pdo_sqlite)Database
curlPaymenter core, and Blast's optional status monitors

No extra PHP extension is required by Blast itself.

What is bundled

Front-end libraries

LibraryPurpose
Alpine.jsDropdowns, menus, preview and the command palette
Alpine anchor and collapse pluginsAnchored dropdown positioning, accordions and mobile menus
Tailwind CSS 4The utility layer of the theme
EasyMDEThe markdown editor used by Paymenter's admin pages, styled to match

Alpine is not bundled separately — it comes from Paymenter's own Livewire distribution, which guarantees version parity with the host application.

Icons, flags and artwork

  • Lucide — the default line-icon set, bundled with the theme and rendered inline with no network fetch.
  • Remix Icon — available through Paymenter's own icon package, used as the fallback set.
  • Flags — bundled locally, so the language switcher makes no external requests.
  • Artwork — isometric hardware renders ship as WebP. No stock photography, no external image service.

Fonts

Loaded from Google Fonts on demand, and only the two fonts you pick in Style. If your store must avoid external requests, choose the System font for both.

Composer packages

Blast adds no Composer packages. It uses only what Paymenter already ships — Laravel, Livewire, Filament, Blade Icons and the HTTP client.

Browser support

BrowserVersion
Chrome / EdgeLast 2 major versions
FirefoxLast 2 major versions (115+ ESR is fine)
Safari16+ on desktop and iOS
MobileiOS Safari 16+, Chrome for Android

Blast uses CSS custom properties, :has(), container-relative masks, backdrop-filter and color-mix(), all well supported in these versions. prefers-reduced-motion is fully honoured.

Rebuilding the assets

This only applies if you want to change the theme's CSS or JavaScript source. A normal install never needs it — the compiled assets ship in the package.

Node.js 22 or newer is required, along with Vite and Tailwind 4. Run the build inside a Node environment that has the theme's vite.config.js and Paymenter's root package.json:

sh
npm install
npm run build blast

Output lands in public/blast/. Afterwards, clear the compiled views:

sh
php artisan view:clear
