Changelog

1.1.0 — 20 October 2026

New

  • RCON is set up automatically. Player Manager turns on RCON for every Minecraft server: it writes enable-rcon, picks a free port and a random password in server.properties, and assigns that port to the server so Docker opens it. Minecraft reads that file only at startup, so the server restarts once nobody is playing. Setup runs from the panel's scheduler, when the tab is opened, and after a server is installed. Servers configured by hand are left alone. Turn it off with Set up RCON automatically.
  • Restart empty servers to turn RCON on. A newly set-up server restarts by itself as soon as no player is online, so RCON is live without waiting for the next restart. It never restarts while someone is playing, and never twice in a row.
  • Set up RCON and Restart now buttons in Connection settings, alongside the current RCON status: on, waiting for a restart, off, or set up by hand. When there is no free port, the dialog says so instead of failing silently.
  • Keep the console quiet. Minecraft echoes every command it receives over RCON into the console. Player Manager turns that echo off with the logAdminCommands and sendCommandFeedback game rules, so the console keeps only what players and the server themselves do. Players still see the results of their own commands.

Fixed

  • List changes right after a server stops. The panel caches server state briefly, so a just-stopped server could still look running, and whitelist or operator changes made in that window went to the console instead of the files and were lost. Every action now checks the real state first and writes the files when the server is down.
  • The Connection card claimed RCON before it worked. It now counts only once the panel really connects.
  • A kept RCON connection could stay "down" for a minute after the server came back. It is checked on every refresh.
  • One connection per page load. The profile page and the player list share a connection, so the console no longer logs a new connection on every refresh.

1.0.0 — 18 October 2026

First release.

  • Online, All players, Whitelist, Operators, Bans and History tabs in one panel-native tab.
  • Player profiles with health, hunger, level, game mode, location, effects, advancements and statistics.
  • Live inventory editor: drag and drop between inventory, hotbar, armour, off hand and ender chest; change amounts; put items in; drop items on the bin to delete.
  • Actions: kick, ban, unban, IP bans, kick all, op and deop, whitelist, game mode, teleport, give item, effects, experience, heal, feed, message, clear inventory, kill, broadcast, save world, time, weather and difficulty.
  • Works with the server stopped: bans, operators and the whitelist are written straight into the server's files.
  • Seven subuser permissions and admin settings for the connection, live updates, features, images and history.
  • Works over RCON, the console or the server files, on Minecraft 1.13+ (inventory editor 1.17+). Tested on Paper 1.21.4 and Vanilla 1.20.1.
