Installation
Requirements
- A Pterodactyl panel (v1.15.x) with shell access
- Blueprint installed — check with
blueprint -version(install guide) - PHP 8.2/8.3 with the ZIP extension:
php -m | grep -i zip
Install
1. Upload supportbundle.blueprint to your Pterodactyl directory (the folder that contains the panel's .env, usually /var/www/pterodactyl).
2. From that directory, run:
bash
blueprint -install supportbundleBlueprint installs the extension and adds it to the panel navigation. Wait for installation to finish before opening the panel. A successful install ends with:
SUCCESS: supportbundle has been installed.Node.js build error?
On Node.js 17+ the panel's build toolchain can fail with a digital envelope routines error. Re-run the asset build once with:
bash
NODE_OPTIONS=--openssl-legacy-provider yarn build:productionThis is a known Node/OpenSSL quirk of the panel's build tooling, not of the extension.
Verify
- Open any server on the panel — Support Bundle appears in the server's navigation
- Click Generate Support Bundle — a result card appears within seconds
- Unzip the download and open
report.txt - The settings page is at Admin → Extensions → Pterodactyl Support Bundle
Updating
Upload the newer supportbundle.blueprint and run the same command:
bash
blueprint -install supportbundleBlueprint switches to its update process automatically. Admin settings are preserved; active bundles keep expiring on schedule.
Uninstalling
bash
blueprint -remove supportbundleThis removes the extension and its temporary bundles. Download any reports you still need before uninstalling.
Where files live
Generated bundles live in a private storage area that is never web-accessible:
storage/.extensions/supportbundle/bundles/<user-id>/<bundle-uuid>/Temporary bundles expire automatically. Use the panel to download or delete a bundle; do not expose this directory through your web server.
